England’s Dom Barrett won four matches Wednesday on his way to claiming the 2018 U.S. Open, including a thrilling one-pin victory over top-seed Jakob Butturff of Chandler, Arizona, in the title match, 207-206.

Kyle Troup of Taylorsville, North Carolina, toppled defending champion Jason Belmonte of Australia, 248-232, to win his third career PBA Tour title Sunday in the finals of the 2018 Storm Lucky Larsen Masters.

Jakob Butturff, who won the Go Bowling! PBA 60th Anniversary Classic earlier in the year in Indianapolis, joins Australia’s Jason Belmonte; EJ Tackett of Huntington, Ind., and Andrew Anderson of Holly, Mich., as the Go Bowling! PBA Tour’s fourth two-time titlist in 2018.

Stefanie Johnson defeated Kelly Kulick of Union, New Jersey, in a tightly contested title match at Plano Super Bowl, 230-200, to claim the $20,000 top prize.

Liz Johnson rolled 23 strikes over three matches at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl to snag her 24th professional title.

Anthony Simonsen, a 21-year-old two-handed bowler from Austin, Texas, got creative to win his fourth career PBA Tour title

Ron Mohr won all four stepladder finals matches and threw three strikes in the 10th frame of the title match to win the PBA60 Dick Weber Championship presented by 900 Global Thursday at Pro Bowl West.

Brian Kretzer of Dayton, Ohio, defeated PBA Hall of Famer Amleto Monacelli, 259-225, in the title match of the PBA50 Cup presented by DV8 Sunday at Spectrum Lanes to win his first title on PBA’s tour for players 50 and over. Michael Haugen Jr. still leader by the points.

Rocio Restrepo wins the BowlerX.com PWBA Twin Cities Open by defeating Liz Kuhlkin in the title match, 224-193.

Newcomer John Marsala of St. Louis, beat Michael Haugen Jr. of Phoenix, 224-218, in the title match to win the PBA50 Dave Small’s Championship Lanes Classic. Michael Haugen Jr. still leader by the points.

The World Bowling Tour is the major professional tour that unite bowlers, both men and women, from selected major professional and amateur organizations through a series of events. It is organized by the World Bowling.

The PBA was established in 1958 when 33 founding members banded together to form the Professional Bowlers Association. Today, the PBA remains the acknowledged major league of bowling throughout the world.
